Quality standards

What gets listed, how we check it, and what we do when something is wrong.

What we list

Education and events for dental professionals. A listing has to be about dentistry and has to be aimed at people who work in it.

We leave out:

Courses about children’s dentistry are fine. They are training for professionals about children, not events for children.

When we are not sure, the listing waits for a person to look at it. We would rather have a smaller directory than one with the wrong things in it.

Credit hours

This is the part we are strictest about.

Always confirm credit with your own regulator or accrediting body before you book. Rules differ by country and by role, and only they can tell you what counts for you.

Where the details come from

We trust sources in order. An accrediting body or the organiser’s own site comes first. Event platforms come next. Anything we only found in someone else’s list is checked against the organiser before it goes live. When two sources disagree, the organiser wins.

The same event reported by several sites is shown once, with a link to the organiser’s page.

Keeping it current

Listings sent to us

Every course or event sent through our forms is checked by hand before it is published. We check that the organiser exists, that the dates and link work, and that any credit claim is backed by the body it names. We may edit a listing for clarity, or decline it.

Pictures

We use the organiser’s own artwork. If there is none, we show the organiser’s logo. We do not use another site’s branding on a listing.

Paid and related listings

Featured or sponsored listings and articles are always labelled. Paying never changes a credit figure or gets a listing past these checks. Courses and events run by the company behind this site are treated the same as everyone else’s. See About.

Report a mistake

If something is wrong, email [email protected] with the page link. Organisers can ask us to correct or remove their listing at any time.
