Accrediting bodies

Recognises CE providers, not individual courses or speakers. A course carries weight because its provider is recognised, which is why provider-level accreditation is the authoritative claim.

The Academy of General Dentistry's provider-approval programme. Like ADA CERP it approves organisations rather than individual courses.

The UK regulator. Dentists must complete 100 hours of verifiable CPD over a five-year cycle, with a minimum of 10 hours in any two-year period. Dental care professionals have lower totals depending on role.
