IDS 2027 returns to Cologne in March
The largest dental trade fair in the world runs 16 to 20 March 2027 at Koelnmesse, with around 2,000 exhibitors expected.
The International Dental Show returns to Cologne from 16 to 20 March 2027.
Koelnmesse puts it at around 2,000 exhibiting companies and about 135,000 trade visitors from more than 150 countries. Nothing else in the sector comes close on either number.
What makes IDS worth the trip is the two-year gap. Manufacturers hold launches back for it. Equipment and materials shown in Cologne often do not reach other markets for months, so the floor is a reasonable preview of what practices will be buying through 2028.
Five days is long. Almost nobody does all of it, and the halls are spread across a large site in Deutz, across the Rhine from the old town. Trains from Köln Hauptbahnhof take a few minutes.
